First of all, a diptych is a piece of art that is composed of two pieces or panels that combine to form one image. If you already knew that, that’s awesome. I did not until I did a set of canvases like this a few years ago. Crazy, right?

Anyway, Point Break (OG Point Break, not the remake they made a few years ago) is fantastic, and I love it. Sometimes you’re Bohdi and sometimes you’re Johnny, but your best self is probably somewhere in the middle. Most of these canvases start with “What would be a cool thing to see in someone’s home/office/etc when you first walk in the room?” If I walked into someone’s house, and saw a Point Break painting, I’d be pretty sure that they are cool people.
